In 2015, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) became a successful firm and had witnessed a progressive development in connection with the Dubai Emirates from a particular time. The Chief of Efficienology Officer has the role that was initiated for Arwa Alhassan, responsible for managing the initiatives related to technology and efficiency. The department has the charge of adopting a program known as ‘Energy Efficiency and retrofit’. Arwa Alhassan shares that her team includes some female engineers with the same motivation and passion. According to DEWA, Conservation and efficiency are the essential factors of energy sustainability, and every generation should acquire energy requirements without compromising the needs of generations of the future. In IT governance, the Chief of Efficienology believes that the leader should be dynamic to motivate the team members to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. The rapidness of challenges in the current IT governance era mostly means that DEWA may fail to get out of everyday situations and engage with the future.
