Higher Educational Excellence through Mobile Applications: Educateone Case

Educateone mobile application technology uses the Teece model under the second quarter of high asset complementarity with low appropriability. It is a noble idea that will require little effort to market as it already has demand-pull strengths of serving an eminent gap in the market. The product will target Abu Dhabi students who lack any means of connecting and interacting with their peers in other universities in the city currently. The main competitors of the idea are CAMs and blackboard that it beats in functional attributes. The main marketing avenues that it will use include internet-based social networks, phone SMS, and banners. Therefore, the uptake of Educateone will almost be ascertainable. The revenue sources will be through subscriptions as well as buying of the application software from app stores. The star-up capital is estimated to be shared between debtors and owners at 3:2. The estimated total capital is AED177,836. The venture will break through in the second year of operations.
